Wine Tasting evening: Five French wines and a delicious meal...

A FORAY INTO FRENCH WINING & DINING
THURSDAY 28th June at The Bakers Arms Droxford, at 7.30pm

On Thursday 28th June we'll be hosting a wonderful Wine Tasting evening that will whisk you away to the vineyards of France. We'll be exploring five specially selected French wines and will serve up a delicious 4 course 'Menu Francaise' to perfectly compliment them. 
Wine supplier extraordinaire and Director of WInchester's 'Wine Utopia', Richard Milward, will present the wines and share his insight and expertise - so we'll all end the night feeling extremely enlightened as well as thoroughly contented. 

We're aiming to make it a truly sociable evening and we'll have 2 large tables (1x24 & 1x10) so it's a good opportunity to 'amenez vos amis' and meet some new ones too.
Price is £50 per person to include the menu below.

TO START:
BOUILLABAISSE : PROVENCAL STYLE FISH SOUP SERVED WITH CROUTONS AND ROUILLE
Paired with:  Rosé - Domaine Roman Grenache Gris, Gris de Gris, Pays D'Oc

MAIN COURSE: 
ROASTED SEABASS FILLET WITH SAMPHIRE, BROAD BEANS & CHIVE BEURRE BLANC
Paired with: Boutinot 'La Fleur Solitaire' Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2017
and: Chateau De Rhodes, Gaillac Blanc (Organic)

TWO HOOTS HAMPSHIRE BLUE CHEESE WITH WATER BISCUITS

DESSERT:
STRAWBERRY AND ALMOND TART
